RNIB had expressed an interest in highlighting the need for accessible gaming, some games do it well (god of war, last of us) but a lot don’t and it’s not necessarily as hard as you might think to make a game accessible. so, we reached out to the mill to help us create 5x sight loss condition filters we could lay over games - this required extensive research many rounds of feedback with sightloss experts to get to an authentic place. we then reached out to famous twitch streamers and blind and partially sighted twitch streamers to have a play off with a twist. the debate had been sparked.

part 2 - fast forward a year, and RNIB were bringing out their own ‘dev-kit’ which basically outlines the principals needed to make your game accessible. what better way to showcase this then to build the principals into our very own game - spectrum shift. trailer below, coming 2026...
