sam is neuro-diverse - his and ivan’s idea came from needing to listen to lo-fi music to help him study back in the day. so we found a production partner (kopi su) who could help us create an app/microsite that would allow students to upload a uni lecture, select a persona i.e shleepyhead (see film) and our app - using ai - would beat-match and sync the lecture to a lo-fi music track. this required lots of back and forth with kopi su on aus time, an ever-evolving tech stack, finessing the UX, designing the UI, undertaking research with over 200 students in 2 weeks and making the film with cookie studio.
